Data Guide Overview¶
The CANOE model is built upon a comprehensive set of data representing the Canadian energy system. This guide details the data sources, assumptions, and processing steps for each sector.
Data Architecture¶
The data is organized by sector, with robust relationships defined between them. (TODO: Add specific architecture details based on Documentation structure.txt)
Data Management¶
- SQLite Database: Annual releases of the full database.
- Data IDs: Unique identifiers for all data points.
- Referencing: Strict referencing of all data sources.
- DQIs: Data Quality Indicators.
